MUSSELBURGH – EDINBURGH ROAD
What a fantastic project for our guys at Hallmark Driveways Edinburgh. This stunning property in Musselburgh East Lothian has been totally transformed by a Heather Block Paving Driveway and Artificial Grass at the rear of the property. It was a huge Project that’s given us an opportunity to show case the quality of our workmanship and the pride we take in our work. Please look at our gallery and see whole process as it developed.
A solid sub base of hardcore is paramount when installing a driveway. It needs to be solid and we do this by making sure we have 8 inches of Type 1 hardcore. This will make sure the driveway will stand the test of time.
Once the hard core is whacked solid we can now screed the sand that will complete the sub base. The sand is levelled to take surface water away from the house to a channel drain. Now we are ready to block the drive.
This block paving driveway is a Heather Block from the Tobormore Range. The colours and shades make this a great choice of Block Paving for a traditional house. Especially this home on the seafront in East Lothian.
A lot of work to create a circular set feature. Skill & precision. At Hallmark we’re proud to show these qualities of the work we can do in Edinburgh and the Lothians. And we believe we’re raising the standards of how driveways should be done.
As you can see this old concrete slab that was used as a driveway looks poor and doesn’t do anything to enhance the property. It’s an old driveway that’s cracked and worn. This property is on the seafront and will be more exposed than normal. This is a great project for Hallmark Driveways!
The dig out begins.
We at Hallmark Driveways Edinburgh take great pride in our work and we believe the images of our work speak for themselves. The most important part of a driveway is the preparation! A solid sub base is so important. Equally important is the shape and colour of Block. We have access to an extensive range of products and are only to happy to give advice to any customer.
Perfection. And what a difference it makes to this driveway.
The artificial grass needs to find its own level and it will be seamless.
